Fashion Forward® at Cannes Film Festival 2025
Nicolás Pesce Freijo

Before the dazzling lights of the Cannes Film Festival illuminate the French Riviera, Fashion Forward® gears up to showcase its top designers at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Founded in 2015, Fashion Forward® has grown into a leading fashion event production company, dedicated to giving designers from diverse backgrounds a platform to shine on some of the world’s most prestigious stages.
Fashion Forward® will host an exclusive Private Showroom during 12 days from May 13 to May 24 2025, hosting a select group of VIPs, including celebrities, KOL, actresses, and influencers, to champion emerging designers showcasing their collection on the red carpet. The showroom will serve as an intimate space for designers to connect with industry leaders and present their collections in a personalized setting.
Through this initiative, Fashion Forward® continues its mission to uplift emerging talent and foster cultural exchange through fashion — all set against the dazzling backdrop of the Cannes Film Festival.
A Lineup of Visionaries from Around the Globe
Fashion Forward® founder Wulan S. Haryono unveils a spectacular lineup of couture designers representing Chile, Kosovo, Aruba, and Thailand for the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.
Rite Hoxha – Kosovo
Elegance in Motion with OXA Couture.
From Kosovo, Rite Hoxha captivates with an exquisite gown that seamlessly blends elegance and craftsmanship. Her design embodies sophistication and modern femininity. As the founder of OXA Couture, Rite’s journey is rooted in passion, creativity, and a lifelong dedication to the artistry of fashion.
Her Cannes collection is inspired by cinematic elegance—the timeless glamour of film stars and the transformative power of fashion on the red carpet. Drawing from old Hollywood charm and avant-garde aesthetics, her pieces embody confidence, storytelling, and individuality.

Gabriel Fuentealba – Chile
Fashion for Awareness and Advocacy
Representing Chile, Gabriel Fuentealba offers a deeply meaningful piece dedicated to cervical cancer awareness. His gown makes a bold fashion statement while shedding light on a crucial global health issue. With cancer being one of the most pressing health challenges of our time, his work serves as both tribute and call to action.
As a costume and textile designer, Gabriel has been advocating for women’s health for over five years through charity events and fashion showcases. This debut collection is symbolic, inspired by the strength of women he’s encountered—especially one whose journey left a profound impact. Through this piece, he delivers a message of empathy, perseverance, and hope.

Anika – Aruba
A Legacy in Motion from FAIR BLVD
From the vibrant island of Aruba, Anika brings a gown enriched with traditional details and cultural heritage. Her design reflects a deep connection to her roots while embracing contemporary couture. Having worked closely with indigenous communities for over a decade, she fuses social impact and sustainability with bold expression.
Anika’s brand, FAIR BLVD, was born from the desire to transform indigenous craftsmanship into wearable art. The Cannes gown is entirely handcrafted over 2–3 months by indigenous artisans—each bead and thread carrying ancestral energy. It is a living testament to culture, artistry, and identity—proving that luxury and heritage are intertwined. This isn’t just a gown; it’s a legacy walking the red carpet.

Winny & Hero – Thailand
Imagination Unbound with Keziah Brand
Completing the lineup are Winny and Hero, the young and daring duo behind Thailand’s Keziah Brand. Founded in 2020, the brand channels childlike creativity and unfiltered imagination into bold, structured couture. Hero, a prolific visual artist since the age of three, and his sister Winny, who envisioned wearing her own paintings, blend their artistic talents into fashion that defies trends.
Their Cannes gown is an expression of raw creativity—fearless, vibrant, and unbound by convention. Keziah Brand reflects a spirit of curiosity and learning, wishing to grow within the global fashion stage while staying true to their roots. Their work is not only a visual spectacle but a declaration: that even from a tiny place like Thailand, art can echo across the world.

Fashion Forward® at Cannes
Through its visionary curation and commitment to cultural diversity, Fashion Forward® continues to redefine red carpet fashion. The Cannes Film Festival is not just a celebration of cinema—but a global stage where fashion, identity, and storytelling converge. With designers like Rite Hoxha, Gabriel Fuentealba, Anika, and Keziah Brand, 2025 promises to be a showcase of beauty, purpose, and the power of fashion as a universal language.
