Curto celebrates fashion and the biker spirit in Punta del Este
BY AVA GILCHRIST
Renowned leatherwear designer Daniel Curto kicked off the season in Punta del Este with an exclusive event at his La Barra store, where he presented his new collection through a conceptual experience that combined fashion, lifestyle, and a passion for motorcycles.
With his own label in Uruguay and an identity consolidated by excellence in design and the quality of his leathers, Curto proposed a different kind of gathering, aligned with the brand’s values: authenticity, sophistication, and freedom. The presentation took place in an atmosphere that fused aesthetics, design, and biker spirit, reaffirming the brand’s DNA.
Among the invited guests were Vanesa Noble Herrera, heiress to the Clarín Group; singer Anita Álvarez de Toledo and fashion producer Nicolás Freijo, along with leading figures from the artistic, social and cultural spheres.
The event was the culmination of an original idea conceived by the designer: a gathering of motorcyclist friends, in which different groups met for breakfast at various locations in the area, touring Punta del Este and its surroundings, and ending the journey at Curto’s store. There, fashion and motorcycling came together in a celebration that reflected the brand’s connection with an authentic lifestyle.
The experience was also accompanied by the «Solo Amigos» group, a select collective of motorcyclists who travel around Punta del Este and Uruguay. In this edition, the journey included breakfast, lunch at Bodega Garzón, and the closing at Curto, where a leather jacket was raffled off among the participants.
The event was supported by leading brands and partners who shared the spirit of the proposal, including Ducati, MG Motor, Coventry Motors, Eve Joyerías, Air Dalkenba, among others.
With this action, Curto reaffirms its position as a brand that transcends fashion to become an experience linked to design, quality, and a contemporary lifestyle.
